about

More Hate Productions presents the fourth album by this band from Donetsk. Initially, "Demonotone" was meant to be part, or rather, the second side of "Hatavism” – the album released by the band back in 2017. But the material turned out to be extremely diverse, and the decision was made to release “Hatavism” as an EP, while “Demonotone” was shelved for two long years, having high chances not to be released at all. However not much later the material was given the second birth. The album was reanimated the day Andrey Tolok – the founder and the only member of HAISSEM – was reached out via the social networks by Denis Shwan aka Zhora Bredor – his former classmate and the vocalist of once famous Donetsk band BREDOR. For old times' sake, Andrey showed his friend the unreleased material and he agreed to help. Zhora, who resided in Germany at that time, in 2018 appeared in Donbass for a while and managed to record vocals for the existing material, which by the time of his arrival had been partially revised and recorded. After his departure Andrey asked Dmitry Kufley from DATURA to add his luxurious growls to the new record and received his immediate consent. The rest was up to “Vetkin Records” and the sound engineer Vitaly Dorofeev. Musically, the album stands apart from all previous releases by HAISSEM. It is pure brutal death metal, powerful and heavy. Thanks to More Hate Productions, the album has finally been released on physical media almost five years after its digital release.
