A special issue of the debut album by SIGNIST (melodic death metal) from Tomsk recorded as early as in 2005, which has not been released by any label yet. The material presented on the debut can be qualified as melodic death metal only superficially. In the process of listening to the album it becomes evident that melody and death metal are not the only foundation stones of this project. Although the musicians refer to their style as Dark Metal, the musical palette used by the band is much wider than the standard characteristics of these genres. One can find doom metal inserts, thrash metal sections along with something unique, individual and indefinable. Specially for this release the material was re-mastered by Konstantin Ratnikov (DEATHINCARNATION) at Anvil Records (Ukraine) and got a new 16-page artwork designed by Alexey Azaroff (who has worked with ABORTARIM and GROBOVAYA DOSKA). The CD includes a cover version of “This Is A Punishment” – the song originally performed by KATATONIA!
